應徵者須具備中五程度或同等學歷。具飼養動物(包括魚類), 有輕型駕駛執照及有關工作經驗者將獲優先考慮。

受聘者須負責飼養動物，清潔動物房間，搬運和清洗籠具及有關雜務。受聘者可獲在職培訓及須在假日期間輪班工作。

Perform mouse genotyping, colony management, in-vitro fertilization, sperm/embryo cryopreservation, mouse colony re-derivation,

pronuclear/blastocyst injections, CRISPR-Cas9/DNA microinjection and embryo transfer

Handling animal husbandry and care, animal breeding and colony management,

operation and maintenance of equipment for sanitation and sterilisation

IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant (holding the functional title of Programmer)

Provide helpdesk support to users through phone calls and emails, assist in software installation and video conferencing, provide technical support,

website development, and assist in developing the IT infrastructure to support new systems and assist in ad hoc projects assigned by supervisors.

Assistant Technical Director (holding the functional title of Veterinary Surgeon)

Monitor the welfare of laboratory animals and keep track of researchers’ compliance with animal ethics committee guidelines, approved protocols, local legislation, codes of practice and AAALAC International standards.

He/She will also inspect animal facilities and research laboratories; provide advice, support, education and training for researchers and animal care staff; and assist in protocol and safety reviews.

Previous experience and/or knowledge of research animal welfare practices and experimental design principles are essential. Working hours are flexible and negotiable to accommodate the right candidate.
