IVIS Lumina X5

Description
The IVIS Lumina X5 imaging system is a non-invasive, real-time in vivo imaging system allowing longitudinal assessment in living animals at multiple time points. This system can measure both bioluminescence and fluorescence signals with high sensitivity. The system also integrated with high resolution low dose x-ray, with optical image overlay allowing study the underlying anatomical and structural changes. Moreover, IVIS X5 equipped with 26 tunable filters allow to detect fluorescence from the visible spectrum through the Near Infra-Red spectrum. The high-throughput imaging enables rapid signal capturing up to five mice simultaneously.

Description
IVIS Spectrum is an advanced pre-clinical optical imaging system which facilitates non-invasive longitudinal monitoring of disease progression, cell trafficking and gene expression patterns in living animals. Quantitative monitoring of both bioluminescent and fluorescent reporters across the blue to almost infrared wavelength spectrum is possible. It can also create 3D tomography images that permit source localization and concentration, as well as anatomical analysis using a 3D mouse atlas in software.

PLI-90A Pico-liter Microinjector with Nikon SMZ745T/SMZ800 Microscope

Description
- PLI-90A picoinjector
The PLI-90A picoinjector reliably delivers injections from femtoliters to nanoliters through micropipettes by applying a regulated pressure for a digitally set period of time. Pressure to the pipette is controlled precisely through a multi-turn regulator and is reported digitally for reproducibility. Injection time is set using an optically encoded circuit that permits both fine and coarse settings from a single control knob. System timing can be controlled in three ways: push button, foot switch, or external trigger.
-SMZ745T Microscope
The SMZ745T Features a zoom magnification of 7.5X and a long working distance of 115mm, Nikon SMZ745 microscopes are well suited for both industrial and biomedical applications. The adoption of a new total reflection prism produces brighter images with higher contrast, and the anti-mold design allows the microscope to be used in environments where the temperature and humidity are high.
-SMZ800 Microscope
The SMZ800N offers higher magnification than conventional models, enabling high-resolution observation of minute structures. In combination with the new objective series, its improved chromatic aberration correction provides bright and sharp images through the entire viewfield. Nanoject III - Hydraulic Nanoliter Injection System

Location

Description
The Nanoject III Nanoliter Injector offers a number of state-of-the-art features to provide easy setup and operation as well as more accurate injection volumes down to 0.6 nanoliters. The Nanoject III does not require any O-rings to secure the micropipette, instead using a micro chuck that allows easy attachment of the micropipette once backfilled with oil.

Operational Modes enable the user to program the unit to do single manual injections, as well as multiple injection cycle recipes. Program input and execution is enabled by prompted touchscreens located on the control box. Programmability, the lower injection volume capability plus the user's ability to select the injection rate widens the potential range of Application for the Nanoject III compared to its predecessor.

Nikon Stereo Microscope SMZ1270 SMZ25

Description
-SMZ1270
The SMZ1270 series exceeds the standard imaging requirements for observing and recording minute object features. The extended zoom ratio of 12.7:1 combines ease-of-use with excellent optical performance.

The nosepiece enables observation over a huge magnification range. Two objectives extend the magnification range without moving the sample. An on-axis vertical view allows plan imaging of holes or pin structures without a tilted viewpoint. Integration with Nikon's NIS-Elements software suite, enables capture of live magnification data. The intelligent double objective nosepiece also reports the magnification of the objective lens used.

-SMZ25
The SMZ25 features a Perfect Zoom System which provides zoom ratio of 25:1 (zoom range: 0.63x - 15.75x). Even with a 1x objective lens, the SMZ25 captures the entire 35mm dish and simultaneously delivers microscopic details.

Perfect Zoom System dynamically changes the distance between the two optical axes as the zoom factor is changed. This change in optical axis distance enables maximization of light entry into the optical system at every magnification. The result is an uncompromised, large zoom range, high resolution in both eye paths, and minimal aberrations over the entire zoom-range.

The SMZ25 series use a fly-eye lens on an epi-fluorescence attachment which ensures bright and uniform illumination even at low magnifications, resulting in uncompromised uniformity in brightness across a large field of view.

The newly developed optical system with improved S/N ratio makes it possible to capture low fluorescence signals and light-sensitive events such as cell division, which is difficult using conventional stereo microscopes.

P-1000 is a Micropitpette Puller incorporated with extensive library of programs. You need only specify the glass, filament, and type of pipette you require and a suitable program will be identified and available for installation.

New features for the P-1000 include: diagnostic testing of all puller components, built-in error detection of air pressure loss or filament burnout, easy access to ramp test, measurement of jaw temperature, and access to previous pull results with the heat on times for each cycle of the program.

The Tumorlmager is a High Throughput Subcutaneous Tumor Measurement & Tracking System (TMS).

The whole Tumor Management System consists of two parts:

R&D Aquatics DC-96 Genotyping Rack and Tank

Description
The DC-96 allows researchers to house 24 individual fish in less than 4 tank spaces while still allowing fish to have more than 0.2L of water in each compartment. The DC-96 offers reserachers to keep fish in the system.

Application
The DC-96 is ideal for holding fish while fin clips are processed for: traditional genotyping, KASP (Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR) assays, ID'ing Zinc Finger Nuclease (ZFN), and Transcription Activator-Like Effector Nuclease (TALEN) mutant carriers, or new transgenic carriers, and any other procedure that requires keeping individual fish separate from the rest of a population.
By removing dividers you can easily double the size of the holding compartment to accommodate a pair of zebrafish. This arrangement is ideal for holding pairs while embryos are screened for phenotypic defects or transgenic expression. In addition to routine screening experiments, the DC-96 is an excellent choice for housing pairs during ENU mutagenesis screens.
